Mike in Barrons . . . AGAIN - The Housing Hurricane Will Howl Again - This is only a lull in the housing hurricane. WE'RE OUT OF THE EYE OF THE HURRICANE, but here comes the back half of the storm. A lot of people think that we've seen the worst of the housing crisis. They're talking about green shoots and glimmers of hope, when they should be back in the storm shelter, preparing for a flood of inventory that will overwhelm the markets and produce another round of falling prices- Click Here to read the full article in the May 25, 2009 edition of Barrons and links to Mike's first two articles Barrons published.
Managed Portfolios - We offer clients several options for investment portfolios ranging from high risk options to long term portfolios made up of a broad basket of stocks and sectors - Click Here

Why are we in the mess we are in? Who do we have to blame?
I don't think anyone said it better than my friend Timothy . . .
"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine.
Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number
of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears
away from the truth and turn aside to myths." - 2nd Timothy 4:3-4

WHO: I'm Mike Morgan, and since 2004 I have been providing the highest level (and most accurate) real estate, housing and financial advice to financial institutions, builders, developers, hedge fund managers and a host of institutional clients. On June 27, 2009, I transitioned a bit. I began offering more of my time, and devoting more of my energy to the little guy who needs my advice more than the institutional clients that put us in the mess we are in. You can read more about me here Mike's Bio
WHAT: My extensive work with financial institutions, developers, builders and "consumers" has provided me with a unique perspective of the economy, the financial markets and what the light at the end of the tunnel is . . . and it is not what most people think it is. I offer research, consulting, analysis and investment advice for anyone interested in asset protection and investment opportunities during the coming global economic crisis that will rival the rough times of the 1930's.
WHERE: My home base is Jensen Beach, Florida, just about 45 minutes North of Palm Beach, two hours South of Mickey Mouse and just minutes away from the most beautiful beach in the world. I travel throughout the state and the country, so when I give you advice, it is not from a stack of papers I read, while I sit in a cushy office sipping organic kaka tea with soymilk at 92.5 degrees and a slice of whole grain toast. I'm on the front lines and behind enemy lines . . . every day.
Crystal Ball - I don't have a crystal ball, but I live and work inside the crystal ball, so I see what is going on and I don't try to spin anything. If I see it, I call it. I own a real estate brokerage in Florida and a company that provides Internet Marketing services to companies, so I hear the consumer side and the business side. And . . . I also have the privilege of working with some of the world's most successful financial institutions, hedge funds and high net worth individuals. When you mix that all together, it is truly . . . MAGIC.
Barrons - April 2008 - Maybe it was a fluke, but I got another two minutes on my 15 when Barrons ran a second article I wrote as a follow up to my 2006 piece. To read the full article Barrons - April 21, 2008
Barrons - October 2006 – I was asked to write a piece for Dow Jones in the summer of 2006. The article was published in the October 2, 2006 issue of Barrons as a full page on page 44. I was told the original piece was too "dark and gloomy," so it was toned down for the tame published version you see below. The original version is exactly what we are seeing unravel in the housing and banking crisis. The "dark and gloomy" is "here and now." Here is a link to the full article - Barrons - October 2, 2006
“You can only go halfway into the darkest forest,
then you are coming out the other side.”
Chinese Proverb
Proverb Note: The trick is knowing when you are past the halfway mark, and then having the wisdom to find the way out. The same holds true for the current real estate market.
Individuals - Residential Buyers and Sellers - If you are a buyer or seller of real estate, my office provides a menu of services throughout the United States. For Buyers, my best advice is rent, rent, rent. There are unique opportunities to buy, but you must understand what you are buying, how, when and at what price. Please email me directly at Mike@Morgan7.com or call me 772-260-5448
Individuals - Investment Advice - If you have not developed a Crisis Investment Portfolio, you better get started. This has been a critical component of my advice. Click Here
Institutional Clients - I personally work with portfolio managers, high net worth individuals, hedge fund mangers, real estate investment trusts and private investment groups. I provide a variety of services including statistics, custom research and analysis, as well as offering on-the-ground tours. On the equity and debt side, my research and consulting covers all of the publicly traded builders, as well as many financial institutions, and suppliers to the industry. On the hard asset side, I provide services to buyers and sellers of commercial property, land, residential communities, condo towers, golf courses and marinas. Mike@Morgan7.com or Direct 772-260-5448
Real Estate Advice - My basic real estate investment advice has not changed for almost four years now, other than to say, be very very careful. There are some consultants recommending condo tower and commercial investments. These guys are simply looking after their own bank account and the potential to reap fat commissions. The markets remain soft and inventory is still growing. Prices will continue to crumble in many markets. For a review of Investment Opportunities, contact me.
My Consumer Real Estate Website - One of the things that sets my research and consulting work apart from Wall Street analysts, research firms and traditional consultants is my ground zero approach. Yes, I provide you with as much data, statistics and fancy words as you need or want, but I maintain an active residential and commercial real estate brokerage. This provides me with the unique ability to speak with consumers and sellers of housing and commercial properties at a level the typical office bound analyst cannot even dream of.
