Mike Morgan's Bio

    Mike Morgan, J.D., RIA is a SEC Registered Investment Advisor offering a variety of services to individual and institutional clients.  For individuals, Mike offers several basic investment portfolios, from the most conservative to higher risk portfolios encompassing a number of trading techniques.  Mike also offers managed accounts, daily trading alerts and one-on-one investment advice and estate planning.
    Basic clients receive Mike's detailed monthly report ranging from 10-20 pages, as well as access to Mike's Global Conference Call.  These calls average 3-4 hours and all clients live with the ability to que up for questions, or to submit questions in advance.  Basic clients also receive email alerts, trade alerts and access to all of Mike's content.
    In addition to servicing a Basic level of clients, Mike offers one-on-one investment planning, advice and strategies, inclusive of estate and tax planning.  Above the one-on-one level Mike offers trading accounts and complete wealth management services.

    As CEO of the Morgan Florida Real Estate Group, Mike's TEAM offers the most comprehensive research, analysis, consulting and REO property disposition services throughout the State of Florida.  Clients include financial institutions, builders, developers, portfolio managers, hedge fund managers and private investors.  Working with such a broad spectrum of clients benefits all clients with non-confidential information that can be shared and exchanged.
    On the REO Property Services side, Morgan Florida offers a comprehensive consulting service to lenders and asset managers for best practices, 
fraud detection and enhancement of REO property disposition.
    In addition to these institutional services, Morgan Florida is a
full service real estate company representing buyers and sellers throughout the state.  For institutional clients, this provides them with a unique perspective on the markets, that goes well beyond looking at numbers and reports that are 30-90 days old.   
    
Morgan Florida is a member of the National Association of Realtors and Florida Association of Realtors.  
     Since 2004, Mike has worked with a number of international financial institutions to provide ground zero look at what buyers and sellers were thinking, as well as how builders and developers were operating.  Mike provided a unique view into Florida, the Caribbean and national housing markets that eluded analysts simply regurgitating numbers.  In addition to research and consulting services, Mike offered statewide tours of real estate markets and investment analysis on a variety of land, condo, single family and multi-family projects, as well as a look at the retail, commercial and specialty markets.
    As a consultant to the financial industry, Mike has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Smart Money, Canada's The National Post, The Palm Beach Post, Scripps Newspapers, Britain's Money Week, Global Economic Analysis and hundreds of real estate blogs and publications.     Prior to forming Morgan Florida, Mike was an independent agent with RE/MAX of Stuart. And prior to entering real estate Mike held executive positions with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide and The Trump Organization on the casino resort side. At Starwood, Mike built a strategic Internet Marketing program complimented by Database Direct Marketing projects. Mike was responsible for brand marketing, creative services, technology development and new business markets. Under his tutelage these groups maximized the profitable revenue stream and exceeded established revenue goals and metrics.
    At Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts, Mike was the featured marketing columnist for two leading international publications, Casino Executive and the Gaming Observer. In addition to his comprehensive international marketing experience, Mike has used his skills to hire, train and develop functional business units.
    Mike earned his law degree from Nova Southeastern with concentrations in International Business Transactions and Real Property, passing the Florida and New Jersey Bar exams in one sitting. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University majoring in Finance.
    In addition to Mike's real estate interests, he is the President of "m3 Interactive Marketing", an Internet Marketing company specializing in developing and managing Internet Marketing campaigns.
    In the early 80's Mike built an international marketing company that was sold to a California group of investors. Following the sale, Mike earned his United States Coast Guard Captain’s license and took an 18 month hiatus to live in Key West, operating a charter business for sport fishermen and divers. Mike holds an active USCG Captain's license and he enjoys fishing, diving and kayaking.

Series 65 - SEC Registered Investment Advisor - Mike holds a Series 65 license and provides investment advice and management services to high net worth individuals interested in preservation of capital and conservative wealth accumulation.

GRI Certified - Graduate REALTOR® Institute designees have completed at least 120 hours of specialized real estate courses and made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services to their clients. The GRI curriculum incorporates a common body of knowledge for progressive real estate professionals. A REALTOR® who possesses the GRI designation has not only completed a course of study required by the program, but also subscribes to the Code of Ethics of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. Any person awarded the GRI designation must be a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and must maintain that membership to retain the designation.

SRES Certified - Seniors Real Estate Specialist® is a professional designation certified by the Senior Advantage Real Estate Council® in Murphys, California. Seniors Real Estate Specialists help seniors make wise decisions about selling the family home, buying rental property, managing the capital gains and estate tax implications of owning real estate, obtaining a reverse mortgage, moving to a senior community, and other issues. The Senior Advantage Real Estate Council® (SAREC®) tracks the special issues and needs of senior property owners and provides education to REALTORS® who make seniors an important focus of their business. The SRES® designation was introduced in 1997 and is nationally recognized.

e-Pro Certified - The National Association of REALTORS® certifies real estate agents that have demonstrated advanced skills in Internet and Interactive Marketing. Less than 1 in 500 real estate agents have passed the testing to receive e-Pro Certification. I have more than 20 years of sophisticated marketing and sales experience, and I am one of the elite e-Pro Certified REALTORS®.

CRS Certified - The prestigious Certified Residential Specialist® (CRS) Designation is awarded by the Council of Residential Specialists, the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors®.  Realtors who receive the CRS Designation have completed advanced courses and have demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate. Less than 1% of all Realtors nationwide have earned the CRS credentials.  Home buyers and sellers can be assured that CRS Designees subscribe to the strict Realtor® Code of Ethics, have access to the latest technology, and are specialists in helping clients maximize profits and minimize costs when buying or selling a home.
